Final Project: Conceptualisation.

Today, with the help of Jing, I decided on my FP concept and theme. :)

"A Day in the Life of a Dancer."

Be it in school,
at home,
when you're shopping,
having lunch,
about to go to sleep,
just hanging out with friends,
or actually in rehearsals...

...a dancer never ever really stops being a dancer.

Now to figure out how to execute it. x____x

Class Exercise 7: Exhibition Marathon.

Today, as opposed to having a lesson in the Cyberart Studio, we went on a field trip to a photography exhibition. The theme was Human : Nature.

Assignment 6: The Moment.

Throughout the photography course, there are some photos I took a snapshot of that I realised reflect this concept of "The Moment". I looked through all of them, and came for a short description for each of them. :)

Here are some photos I considered for: The Moment.

#1: The Battle.
Alex's (the guy) crew is having a dance-off battle against Jasmine's (the girl) crew. This shot was captured when Alex challenged Jasmine straight on. Jasmine is pointing to her eyes to tell Alex, "Bring it on!" and to maintain eye contact with her, while Alex is just having fun, and amused by what he is doing. Jasmine's crew mate, albeit in a less fierce way, is telling Alex to bring it too. The members of the audience are just as amused.

#2: Look out for each other.
At this point of the dance battle, Jason (the guy on the right) is returning Chii Tarng's (the guy on the left) cap to him, after ChiiTarng dropped it at the beginning of the battle. This is the moment just when Jason successfully puts CT's cap back onto his head, and is moving in to take the place of his teammate during the freestyle dance battle. The best part of this is that this was entirely spontaneous and unplanned. :)

#3: Over there!
Halfway during the event, fireworks started exploding behind the outdoor stage, and all the performers were distracted and seated themselves to watch the show. This moment was when they all noticed TOGETHER that the fireworks looked lovely when reflected against the glassy Marina Bay Sands surface. They all pointed and exclaimed AT THE SAME TIME.

#4: Simply Breathtaking. (vertical)
When the dancers were staring in awe at the fireworks. I kinda wished I could have jumped onstage and taken their front view.

#5: Simply Breathtaking. (horizontal)

#6: Two Bugs' Lives.
CAUGHT IN THE ACT. But unfortunately, this wasn't exactly the best angle I could've hoped for... Two bugs mating and caught on camera.

#7: FISHIE looked here!
This strange looking goldfish with RED LIPS was swimming around harmlessly, but I caught the moment when it looked in my direction for awhile.

#8: Pass it On!
I chose this shot as my "The Moment" shot out of all the shots above.
